Team of the week
The "Black Diamonds" Over 21 team play in our Tuesday Women's Competition. This CLASS team put in a superlative performance against the world-class "Ball Benders" team in slightly damp conditions last Tuesday evening, winning 3-1 with two late goals to end the stalemate. What a team!!!

Our Policy for Wet Weather is as follows:  Rain falling does not cause games to be cancelled, this is football and yes, it can be played in rain. Thunder & Lightning (as per the strict guidelines of the 30:30 Lightning Policy) will cause games to be cancelled, though the decision is made at the ground on the night, it is not possible to give prior notice. Water on the ground may lead to games being cancelled at late notice. Ku-ring-gai Council may also close the grounds from time to time and instruct us not to use the grounds to preserve the playing surfaces. Also, the Competition Organiser is obliged to close the grounds when in his / her judgment play would do damage to the playing surfaces, or endanger the safety of players - we do not promote unnecessary painful and debilitating injuries. Apart from lightning or extreme inclement weather conditions (e.g. a once in a 100 years dust storm), a decision will be made by 3:30pm on the day of the matches.  All information will be posted on the website and ground closures (i.e. earlier than 3.30pm) will be emailed to Team Managers.
