GROUND STATUS

ALL GROUNDS ARE OPEN!
Ku-ring-gai Council reports: "..as the grounds were open yesterday and there has been little to no rain since all grounds will remain open..."
Our policy for wet weather is as follows:
- Rain falling does not cause games to be cancelled, this is football.
- Lightning (30:30 Policy) will cause games to be cancelled, the decision is made at the ground on the night, it is not possible to give prior advice.
- Water on the ground may lead games to be cancelled. Council will close grounds and instruct us not to use the ground. Also, the Competition Organiser is obliged to close the ground when in his judgment play would do damage.
Apart from lightning or sudden torrential downpour, a decision will be made by 3:30pm on the day of the matches
and the information will be put on the website and sent as an email.

Playing Boots
· Playing boots to be worn at the Ku-ring-gai Hockey Centre are to have rubber dimples or cleats. Hard plastic cleats or dimples are not allowed as they can have sharp edges that cut the synthetic turf. Running “style” shoes, “cross trainer” shoes or similar shoes are permitted.
